Hi! I have been on Wellbutrin XL 300Mgs. for about
a week, before that I did a week of SR 100mg. My question is this: Has anyone out there using Wellbutrin XL 300mgs per day experienced
any spreading rashes with extreme itch that leaves no trace (
except maybe redness and scratches from scratching
so much)It has really been a very difficult 24 hour period for me
with such intense itching in what seemed almost everywhere. I changed the sheets, took a shower/bath in the middle
of the night, spread all the itching areas with benadryl gel, alleviated some of the itching but still came back today.
If anyone out there at all has experienced this, please let me know. Let me know if it's a 'passing' side effect or if it's
going to be 'one of those things to get used', because if it's the former, I am most
definitely getting off of WellB. The intense itching has been the most 'Serious' ITCHING I have ever
experienced in my 45 years young. If anyone thinks it's "Drug Eczema"-PLEASE SPEAK UP ( I began my journey into "Better living through Chemistry"(Timothy Leary)
in October of 2002 with Prozac for 6 weeks, did not really work for me.
after that nothing for about 2 or 3 months, then on Effexor 225mgs., until my present relationship with WellB.
The thing is I was already weaning myself off of Effexor
for a couple of weeks and thinking, 'at my next appointment, I will tell
my Doc that 'I'm going off the meds, unless....you think WellB would be a viable option.
As it turned out, this was the one drug he plucked out of the many
to try out. I am not afraid of not using AD's, though
I must admit I am afraid of another severe depressive episode.
To sum thoughts up, I believe WellB may be working
on some levels, like even though I may not feel like
'dealing'sometimes, I still manage to 'rise to the ocassion' and do it well.Thank you-Love,
