wellbutrin and weight/dose

Hi all
Happy holidays!!!

My doc has increased my wellbutrin dose to 450 mg daily in the hope that this will control my weight gain from my other drugs.
Does this make sense to anyone? Has anyone found that high doses have worked out to be more effective in the weight department that lower doses?
