I took it for a few months in the hopes that it would kill visual hallucinations and boost the Effexor.

I have to agree with previous comments ... unless you're manic or in the midst of a psychotic episode ... I have trouble imagining how one could actually stay awake ... it trully knocks you out.

The 25 mg was really sedating but a higher dosage was needed for the boosting effect and it made me too sluggish in the morning. It helped a bit if I took it earlier.
