I was sooo afraid to increase my dose also, but when I did (after waiting 3 months) I felt a ton better!!! Because my body was used to the drug, I had no additonal side effects other than a bit tired for a few days. I have been on Lexapro for 4 months now and feel awesome. I am calm and happier without all of my senses being "numbed". I still cry and laugh but without the depression or anxiety! I have not gained weight either!!
