Going thru a real funky experience................

So I have been on effexor xr 75mg for about 4 weeks now and have just started to take zopiclone for sleep about 4 days. My pdoc wouldn't give me anymore ativan. I wasn't completely honest about my use of ativan with him, so it is not his fault, but I think I am going through ativan withdrawal or the effexor xr is too strong for me.

I am very anxious, shaking, heart is doing a song and dance flutter, losing weight, I am only sleeping because of the zopiclone, all the symptoms of acute anxiety without being freaked out about it. It is really weird.

If it is ativan withdrawal, how long before it goes away. I have been using ativan prn for about a year and have been using about 1mg for well over a month. I haven't taken any in 4 days.

Any input would be appreciated.
