By the way, several months ago I read that turmeric is also an excellent anti-inflammatory but I don't know how much you'd have to eat for it to be effective.
I find a heaping teaspoon of turmeric to be more effective that prescription anti-inflammatories such as celicoxib or meloxicam, or OTCs like ketoprofen or ibuprofen, and it lasts about 24 hours for me, as well.
