Weird question and experiment with SSRI's

Posted by shadows721 on December 19, 2003, at 6:48:29

When I was on Prozac, I noticed that when I was in complete darkness, I saw strange hazy grey see thru complicated white circles moving. It's similiar to those toys that children look into a tube and see colorful patterns moving. It went away when I got off of Prozac.

Now, I am on Lexapro and I see a different pattern of circles in the total darkness. I have NEVER seen anyone state they have this. I am wondering if no one has noticed. Try it and see. When you are in total darkness, see if you see complicated circles that are similiar in quality to that toy children look into to see patterns moving. These patterns really have no color. They are sort of see thru. It's funny, but it seems I can literally see a difference in Prozac circles and Lexapro. They are similar, but different. Prozac's circles were a faster pulse like quality. Lexapro's circles are like they are suspended and stay connected. They move slower than Prozac's circles.

P.S. I know it sounds weird, but it's a weird side effect too.
