Does selegiline have any antidepressant effect?

Posted by Bananafish on December 1, 2003, at 20:13:41

I was reading about Eldepryl (selegiline) which is prescribed in the U.S. for Parkinsonism. I understand that it is an MAO-B inhibitor, but I can't find any information on whether it has any mood-lifting properties like Parnate or Nardil (which I know are MAO-A inhibitors). Anybody know the answer?
