Jonathan:

I'd get an appointment with a neurologist and tell him/her about what you've been going through since your accident. Don't let them give you the brush off either--i.e., a prescription for Valium or some other quick fix. If the doctor can't give you a good explanation and tell you what to expect in the future, he should refer you to a specialist who treats concussions. If you don't convey a sense of urgency, the doctor is likely to consider your problem less urgent. You deserve an explanation and good medical treatment--but it's up to you to push for it and not settle for less. Before you go into your appointment, write down all the symptoms you've been experiencing since your accident. Be prepared to describe your symptoms in detail.

Personally, I don't think you're worrying too much considering you've had a sudden and frightning change in your life. But rather than worry, try to focus on what you're going to do to resolve the issue. Good Luck.

Regards,
Caleb
