My son-in-law has the printed imformation, honestly, I don't know where it was from, and just did give the information back to my son-in-law. We cannot get an apt until Dec 8th or afterto go over the results, as our pathologist is on vacation. We didnt' get the infromation from an online site, but I'm sure it must be out there somewhere. I even wrote to the company that makes Lexapro, and they have her a case number assigned, but then never, never did they return any information to me--back then -the end of 2002 or into 2003--and I wrote to them many times. As I said, at that time, there was no lab that could test for lexapro. Now we have results, and it can be added to the death certificate. She had alchol in her system as well, and I know it was a deadly combination. I feel they did not council well enough---but, I am a layman and do not undersand the information we just recieved. I will know more later, but in my gut feeling, there should be more stronger warnings and information give to those who take this drug.

Hello to all above, I am not totally sure of how to answer all on this site, so bare with me, but--as soon as we meet with our pathologist I will post on here where the information came from.I promice. But it has to be out there. Maybe it was from controlled studies. I would sure ask the doctor about all of these issues.

In June of 2002
My daughter was 37 years old, no children.
Our shop was robbed by 2 men-they have never been apprended as yet.

After the robbery at our shop --where She had a gun helt to her head, & We were both tied up.
She just couldn't get over it, and her doctor put her on paxil and buspar for panic attacks. She hated the side effects as well, and stopped those.I finally talked her into going to a clinic here in our town. They put her on this new medication Lexapro.. she had been on it only for --less than 2 weeks--along with a nerve pill-xanax that they listed a very small amount in her system-8 nanaograms--but the alchol I think was the worst factor with the drug Lexapro--or all together--
she was going tru menopause as well--and had taken many fertiltiy drugs--5 years or so previous. I just now look to God as much as I can, and am not as bitter as I was. But having to wait a year to get this drug listed on the death certificate, now brings it all back fresh. and not understanding as-YET the numbers--is frustrating. But all along I have felt the doctor as well as the drug company did not give enough warnings about this drug--to those who take it in using alchol and if I can help save someone else its worth talking about this.

She hated that drug and the way it made her feel. I talked to her at 7 Pm that night as well as her sister talked to her about 8, and at midnight her husband called us, saying he found her in the bathroom--she was gone then--she had stayed home from a function because of the panic attacks. The correct amount of all medication was found in all containers. Her doctor could not understand the cause-no answers.

We all have said --what if--what if--
and know thats is just not something we should do--blame ourselves--but its hard. and now with it being the holidays, and going on just a year past--its hard.
Bless you all, and hope I haven't scared anyone, as I did when I firt posted on here soon after her death. That was not my intent, but I was bitter. And the drug was new 4 mos out.
as I said, I had this site written down, but lost my name I used before-so had to regegister.
God Bless all and have a happy Thanksgivng. Iwill check the posts here.
Garland
