You may want to add omega 3 fatty acids (in the form of fish oil) 3-6 grams a day of fish oil, has been shown to greatly help the negative, antimotivational aspects of depression.
It may not be a cure, but for something that is excellent for the body in many other ways, it is worth looking harvards studies on their relation to mood disorders. I found O3 augmentation greatly helpful.
