Take a tapering vacation at a certain level. Give your body a chance to adjust. Doesn't help with the rebound depression though.

Last week I had nausea all the time, vomited at least twice a day, couldn't keep anything down, was hot one minute, cold the next, had horrible mood swings, among other flu-like symptoms. My Doctor almost put me in the hospital for the extra support, but I refused. If I was going to be miserable, I was going to try to at least be a little comfortable in my own home.
