I've gained about 30 lbs and I am so friggin tired that I don't exercise as much as I used to to try and take the weight off--and even when I exercised, I could bench 200lbs, but I couldn't drop weight below 228lbs (5'11" - 36" waist). For some reason, the fatigue creeps back after the initial "activating" feeling subsides.

>Hmmm...normally I would suggest Nardil..but weight gain is quite common. With Parnate weight gain is not so common, but initial fatigue is.
I would suggest Anafranil- a very effective antidepressant marketed as an anti-OCD agent. Weight gain can happen, as with just about all these drugs, but it is much less common. You could also try another TCA antidepressent such as Amitryptaline. Finally Risperdone is an option...very effective drug, and low weight gain potential- although some people do gain weight.
You could also use an AD where their is weight gain, and in combination use a drug to keep the weight off- such as Topomax
