Amisulpride was more effective than risperidone at controlling the "affective" symptoms of schizophrenia. I now understand what the the positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia are but not the affective symptoms. Could somebody help me out here? thanks

I believe affective sympoms correlate very strongly with negative symptoms...affective refers to emotional...eg when depressed affectively I seem down, upset...I appear such a way to the clinician.
