Cookie,
I occasionally take just a bite off a 25 mg. Seroquel, and sleep like a baby. I don't take it often and almost always only on weekends because if I bite off too much I have a difficult time getting up the next morning. Sometimes I can just suck on one for a minute and sleep well with no hangover at all. However, everybody's different. My sister takes 200 mg. of Seroquel 2 times a day and she does fine on that. However, she didn't start off on that dose. She's bipolar and the higher dose now seems to help her.
By the way, I tried Gabitril too, and didn't have any luck with it. Neurontin, on the other hand, helps me tremendously.

I smoked ice occassionally for seven months, had a severe anxiety attack accompanied by these weird vibrational sensations throughout my body (like a cat's purr). Since then, I've been very moody with gobs of anxiety, can't hold a job, etc. Doc says she thinks it is a sub-type of bipolar II, that the speed brought it to the surface, depleted dopamine, yadda yadda. All drugs seem to make me more anxious - possibly placebogenic? I am currently on Wellbutrin (100mg) - I'm not crying so much but anxiety is still prominent. I have samples of Seroquel to try (25 mg). I'm a little afraid to take it, but I desperately need sleep and if mania is causing anxiety maybe it's worth a shot. I didn't do well on Zyprexa, Depakote, Gabitril, and Prozac.
