i am starting to realize that perhaps the biggest problem i had is that doctors thought i was okay when i was definately not okay and i thought that doctors realized that i was definately not okay .... and just sat there visit after visit and waited for them to address strange depressive and anxious symptoms (which i now realize are bipolar + ADHD)......... now that i've learned the HARD WAY i do what i should have done a long time ago, and before each visit assume the doc can't help me UNLESS i write up a well organized, well summarized, yet descriptive document listing all my current problems, how they effect me, and perhaps possible solutions
a lot of people just don't tell their docs about their problems and expect the docs to knowheck, in my 15 min once/1 or 2 month interview i never had time to address anything
