Or potentially better for you if the small guns just don't cut it and one of the big guns ends up working well for you. But good question - why switch? Which benzo? Was it not working well for you and if so, would you try a different benzo? Were you at an adequate dosage? Your use of the word detox suggests to me that maybe your doctor considered physical dependence on a benzo a bad thing. If that's what he/she is thinking, it is by no means a universal opinion.
