In reply to my take on 5ht2a, posted by linkadge on October 31, 2003, at 17:40:17

I like this kind of analysis of a drug's effect. Sometimes it seems we drown in data about receptor affinities and so on, but this kind of thing is a welcome change of pace.

It sounds like 5HT-2A antagonism promotes sociability for you. That's consistent with the reported effectiveness of 5HT-2A antagonists for negative symptoms- of depression and schizophrenia.

Do you find 5HT-2A antagonism anxiolytic?

Could you say more about how your sleep changes?

Thanks,
z
