I started on Proz approx 4 weeks ago for moderate depression. Did 10 mg for a week, then upped to 20. I have been taking samples that my pdoc gave me, which I noticed were 2 yrs past expiration date but didn't really care because I was feeling better and they were free. Gave me some "anxiety buzz" an hour or so after taking that lasted most of the morning, not great but better than poor mood for sure. Not a miracle cure but heading in the right direction.
This morning I took my first 20 mg dose of "fresh from the pharm" Proz. WOW I feel like I'm running 100 mph. Is it possible that the outdated pills had lost some potency? I'm definitely trying a half dose tomorrow!
