I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling so terrible!
Lexapro may take some time for you before you feel better and not so jittery.
Perphenazine(Trilafon) is a potent antipsychotic. Used alone, it helps to treat anxiety and agitation. Did you get the generic?
Hopefully it will reduce your anxiety. 4mg is a good dose, in my opinion.
Lexapro has helped many people here. Give the Lexapro some more time and I wish you all the best:-)
> I am on day three of Lexapro. I am very sensitive to meds and started at a 2.5 mg. dose. Was very jittery and anxious for the first two days. I felt a little less jittery today so I took another 2.5 mg. I'm jumpin out of my skin! I hate this stuff. I can't wait until 9:00 when I can take my lorazapam and go to bed.

> My pdoc just gave me a prescription for perphenazine to ease the anxiety. I guess it's an antipsychotic but in a 4mg. dose it helps with anxiety. Have any of you tried it?
