Physiological responses to endorphins include analgesia and sedation.
Endorphins are the natural chemicals which bind to what we call opioid receptors. Obviously, Mother Nature designed them as endorphin receptors, but they were "discovered" by means of studies into the effects of the opium poppy.Lar
