need info on rescue meds for panic attacks

i'm taking 25mgs of seroquel and 50mgs of zoloft for bipolar, ptsd, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and imsomnia. it seems to work well so far. except when i have "bad days". my old pdoc gave me xanax, only taken during the panic attack, but my new doc "doesn't believe in them". any alternatives without additive qualities?
