That's just absurd. I can't believe that those of us who just want to try antiparkinsonian drugs for depression/apathy/SSRI side effects seem to have no difficulty getting a prescription. It's not as if they're terribly dangerous drugs (though L-Dopa, Amantadine, and ergot-derived medications [Parlodel and Dostinex] are certainly abuseable -- unscheduled though).
So you're seeing a neuropsychiatrist? I'd suggest seeking out a neurologist -- these neuropsychs obviously couldn't find their own a**holes with both hands and a flashlight.
