I took paxil for years and when It stopped working my docter swapped me to lexapro and she did a straight swap without any cut down. I was very surprised when she suggested this but I went alon with here advise, and I had no side effects what so ever. Im not saything that this will happen to you just remeber that everyone has a different story and not all of them are bad. I also whent off paxil in a earlier period by cutting down and then going cold turkey. I had a few side effects I think I had two brain zaps which freaked me out but there not really that bad.
