Wow. I haven't felt normal all day. I've felt tired, dizzy, emotionally flat. And this is on a very low dose. I was able to do my weight-lifting and socialize, but I didn't feel quite awake all day.

I had some mild breakthrough visual migrane phenomena, but as this is the first day of my menstrual cycle, this is quite good. I can usually look forward to a hard-core migraine with negative cognitive effects for days afterwords.

And speaking of cognitive effects, those were my biggest concern about taking Depakote. I'm noticing just a few times that I haven't been able to recall someone's name or a simple word. Yet my attention span and short-term memory are much better without the regular migraines (yup, they have an effect), so maybe it's a trade-off.

*sigh* I hope I feel better tomorrow.
