lexapro vs. parnate

i have gone through paxil, zoloft, effexor, remeron, wellbutrin, dexedrine, provigil, nuerontin, all with varying degrees of success - but none consistent and sustaining. my pdoc is recommending me to now try either lexapro or parnate. he thinks with my history that parnate might have a better chance of success. any thoughts on this would be welcome.
