Effexor can raise your blood pressure. Reading all the negative posts about Effexor might cause some anxiety. haha! I started out on Effexor IR (Immediate Release) and it's impact was very noticable on my stress level. If you are taking the XR (Extended Release) type, I don't know how long it would be before you would notice anything.
Definately bring it up to your doc.
