Lexapro and Neurontin

Posted by Sophia Bleu on September 4, 2003, at 18:35:56

Does anyone take Lexapro with Neurontin? I'm getting ready to start Lexapro (10 MG) and currently take 10 MG of Neurontin at bedtime. My doctor prescribed Neurontin for the horrible side effects I was having after stopping Effexor cold turkey. I swore to myself that I would never take another antidepressant after the awful experience I had on Effexor and from stopping the Effexor. But here I am once more, with the seasonal depression that hits every fall. I have to do something, so I'm going to give the Lexapro a try.

Anyway, I need to know if taking the Lex with the Neurontin (which makes me very sleepy) at bedtime would be OK, or if I should take the Lexapro at a different time of day, perhaps in the AM.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
