I took Zoloft in high doses for OCD(500mg). I would try and stick out the Lexapro if you can. If you had bad side effects with the Lexapro, I don't want to think about what the Zoloft will do. Also, the withdrawl from the Zoloft is very bad. If you've only been taking it for a few weeks and you can tolerate the side effects, I'd try it for atleast another month considering the side effects generally taper off with time. Have you tried lowering your dose? Maybe you need to gradually build up. You can crush your pills. What did your doctor start you out on? Anything above 10mg would be too much. I'd ask your doctor if you can take half the dosage you were taking of the lexapro for a few weeks and try to build up to the normal starting dosage. I think it will be worth it for you.
