Since then I've gained about 12 lbs. - probably from stress eating - and I can't sleep no matter how tired I am. The reason the doc put me on this is because of my tiredness and weight gain. Is Lex going to make everything worse for me? Help!

> Also, what effect does alcohol have with Lex? It would be very noticable to friends and co-workers if I stopped drinking altogether for no reason. Usually I'll have a glass of wine when I'm out. (I'm too embarassed to admit to others I'm on a drug of this type.)
>I guess I'll have to speak up for those who are doing *better* on Lex...although I had a rough time at the beginning w/se's, I'm doing a lot better now, 6mos., currently @ 20mg. I have had drinks (whiskey, beer) on occassion w/no adverse effects. We are all different so you may not react in the same way to lex, and unfortunately the only way to find out is trail and error. Most of the worst of the se's should taper off and be gone by week 3, many may not notice a *difference* until week 6-8, and I was one of those many. I managed to hang in there w/encouragement from the great people on this board!!!
Best of luck to you!~~~8|8
