Hi Bela.

I've been on and off Lamictal a few times, and never really had a problem weaning off of it. You should not stop taking it abruptly so as to avoid seizure. You should be able to reduce the dosage by 50mg every 3-5 days, perhaps going to 25mg at the end. I experienced a bit of insomnia at first, but that was it. I doubt it will be an unpleasant experience.
