Remeron---The Lame Anti-Dep.

Posted by McPac on August 15, 2003, at 14:05:34

Does Remeron, which should be called Lameron, have ANY effect on serotonin at all? Some here say no, some say yes, I believe that it does have limited effect (VERY limited, lol). The ssri drugs (serotonergic drugs) always gave me a very good AD boost (mood lift) though they cause some major side effects for me. Remeron doesn't have a lot of those side effects but it is a DUD of a drug. I think vitamin C would pack more of a "punch" than Lameron. Any other AD's that have strong serotonergic effect besides the ssri's? If so, do they cause the same type of side effects as the ssri's do? Thanks!!!!
