low TESTOSTERONE level could cause depression?

Hi to all, and apologize for my awful english.
Coul danyone answer if dep could be cause by low level of testosterone in the blood?
My personal story was about years on SSRI without any righ effect and with a continuos decrease of sex desire.
Currently i've no (sob!) sex desire at all, even if i stopped AD since 1,5 years.
Could anyone help me to know? is there the possibilility to use medical testosterone supplement for the increase of libido or other drug?
I'm waiting for any answer or question to post better....
