Hello Everyone Again!
Thank you so much for the supportive posts. I really hope that I can make you proud and not cave in to the withdrawal effects.
So anyway here it goes...
Day Three: On August 4th, 2003 I didn't take the medicine (as you already know due to a previous post), and on the morning of August 5th, 2003 I had the most terrible brain zaps ever! They were so bad and they made me so paranoid. Everywhere I looked my head just zapped, and shocked like crazy. I almost caved and decided to keep on taking the Effexor...but I look at my child and I realize what is at stake here.
Day Four: August 5th, 2003 at 12:00pm... I took the Effexor and the "brain zaps" faded by around 3:00pm. I still felt kind of tired during the day though.
Day Five: Here we are on the night of August 6th, 2003 at 7:00pm and I haven't taken the Effexor at all. I felt a little edgy at 4:00pm so I took 0.5 milligrams of Ativan to chill the effect, but other than that I feel okay. I am a little scared because I know that the brain zaps will be here tomorrow morning, and it will be grueling to go to work and attempt to get by until noon when I can take the medicine. But...I have to get off of this drug.
So there is the last three days of my recapping the withdrawal effects...I hope this is helping people realize what a terrible drug this is...It should have never been released to the public until they could have figured out how to bypass this wicked withdrawal.
Once again, I would like to thank you all for everything that you had said, and for all the support that you have shown. Because of you...I will get by this. Thank you.
