What you have experienced (SE's) on Celexa will happen on Effexor too. If Celexa works for you, don't switch to Effexor in hopes of diminished SE's. I'm on Effexor, 100mg 3xdaily Non-XR version and I'm tired alot and can't remember anything.
KDi in Texas> I'm thinking of switching from Celexa 60mg/day to Effexor XR (starting with 37.5 daily while still on 60mg of Celexa until I wean down). The primary reason for this is the tiredness and memory issues I have with Celexa. But, reading some of your comments, it seems that Effexor XR's SE's include tiredness, memory problems, as well as sweating. I was on Wellbutrin with the Celexa at one point and I used to sweat just thinking! Any thoughts out there? I don't want to mess with my meds (Celexa has been great for me so far) if I'm only going to have the same or more symptoms.
