> For the past 8 months I've been doing extremely well on a low-dose of moclobemide for combating mild anxiety. However, on the down-side, I feel that my mental clarity and concentration has been somewhat curtailed by the drug.
> In the past (before I began taking moclo) I found piracetam an excellent way to improve my mental focus, so a few days ago I tried mixing the moclo with piracetam. (150 mg. of moclo in the morning, 800 mg. of piracetam in the evening) After only two days, this combo led to an unsettling leap in anxiety and physical weakness.
> So I'm off the piracetam, but I'm still looking for a MILD way to keep my mental abilities reasonably sharp.
> Has anyone found anything that works well alongside moclobemide-- gingko, choline/inositol, etc.?I found piracetam by itself to be anxiogenic. Anyway, I am on moclobemide + aniracetam without any problems. Aniracetam is more expensive than piracetam, but I like it much better. Aniracetam is actually somewhat anxiolytic in of itself. Good luck!
