Hi Melissa,
I've been on Lexapro now for two weeks. This is the first time I've ever been on any type of anti-depressant which I'm also taking 10mg (for anxiety). Anyways, I have experienced the typical side effects: light tiredness, trouble falling asleep- easily awakened, depressed mood, and decreased sex drive.
I experienced all these in the first couple of weeks, but now they seem to be improving as I adjust to it. I also experienced light headaches in the beginning, but now haven't noticed any. The side effects (for me) are mild and seem to outweigh the other options. Hope it works for you!
