Hi McPac;
I work in a hospital and elevated B/P is listed in our drug book, also, I was to a internal specialist about a month ago and she also emphasized that Remeron causes elevated B/P.
Regarding your comment/concern about Remeron losing it's effect to help you sleep, it does level off and you will find that you don't go to sleep as quickly after taking it, but it does still help with sleep. I take my medication at 8:30 pm and in the beginning I was alseep by 9 pm and would sleep late in the morning, now I fall asleep around 11 and wake early, feeling refreshed and energized, so although the length of time I sleep has shortened, the quality of sleep I get is great.
To your last question, yes I have OCD minus the compulsive side of it. I obsessed over everything and anything, my thoughts were erratic and unrelenting. Remeron took care of that problem for me as well. Hope this helps, take care.
