please tell me the withdrawl goes away

i have been reducing my effexor in an attempt to stop under my dr's guidance... well i forgot to take any the past two days and what had been slight withdrawl symptoms have exploded.. i have vomited.. am dizzy .. and the tingling (never knew about that one before)right now i feel like i can't do anything .. i'm feeling a little panicked and want it to stop !!!! my heart goes out to all who struggle with these things... i once stopped taking celexa cold turkey and never again .. i'm disheartened that i am experiencing such strong symptoms now and just looking for a little word of encouragement.. please tell me it gets better :)
