adderall xr vitamin c

I take 40 mg of adderall xr twice a day - does anyone know if vitamin c and adderall really dont go together well? Or if i can have vitamin c at all? I have to be on this much adderall bc i had so many problems metabolizing the other adderall so i would appreciate any input.
