I really can't say that lack of sex Caused my depression but the lack of sex and intimacy (not that there is none) among a few other issues might have pushed me to depression. I mean, the Effexor is good because it has slightly lowered my sex drive which helps me cope with not getting it all time. Its more of an issue of insecureness than 'sex' I think. Anyway, I used to want sex like twice a day or more, but now I can deal a little better with a much lower frequency. So in that respect its helping. But mainly, I'm hoping it will help me just feel generally ok most of the time as apposed to generally crummy, and help with some social-anxiety that I have.
