As a friend say's.."One step forward...two steps back...". But, I find it doesn't last forever, that the bad times come and go in cycles. During the bad times, it might be a good idea to really look at your pain and get to your doctor **asap**. This CAN be somewhat 'cured'...and often it just takes some 'tinkering' with medications, as well as changing your routine. Don't accept it...and reject it, push it away, and hang on tight. It's been ten years with me, and I feel I am just barely starting to be able to live again. Somedays it's only one step back, and two steps forward. It's not *always* going to be bad.
Oh..just to note...I also found too...the summer can be very hard. It's hot, but I find air conditioning can make me feel lousy too. I feel achy and tired, so I take some super pain killers. In his book "Beyond Prozac" the author talks about using aspirin and ibuprofin...and I also use lots of codiene also for the tough days. The reason is the same chemicals in our body that cause inflamation also can cause depression and anxiety...and these and any anti-inflamatory drug destroy's these chemicals. Sometimes it feels like my who body is one big 'nerve in pain'. Again..talk to your doctor. I have to take LOTS of these drugs along with my Prozac. Also, I find a benzo like Klonipin absolutely needed.
Oh, and I also find once the pain goes away, the fatigue starts going away. Sometimes it's better...sometimes it's worse....but you do deserve the 'better' part, indeed. Hang in and hang on....
Peace and hope...
