I'm slowing lowering the dosages of each and I'm finding that my mood will plummet with no warning and stay low for 15 seconds to 15 minutes before easing off again. Its not particularly distressing as I know it will lift, although now that I've gotten down to half of my usual Wellbutrin dose I am finding the depression is becoming more pervasive. Anyone with experience in this? In particular, I want to know how long I need to tough it out before I know whether it is a return of symptoms or just a reaction to being without the medication?

I don't know about Wellbutrin, but I'd anticipate anxiety and insomnia as you come off the Remeron. Major insomnia was my biggest withdrawal symptom.
