Hi:
Do you work or stay home? I know some people will drink a caffienated soda to give them a boost through the afternoon when the drowsiness hits, so they can function through a work day.I don't know how I would handle it if I wasn't a stay at home mom. Everyday after lunch for the past 15 years no matter how much I eat, I feel the drowsiness hit and I have to lay down. I recently began taking Strattera for ADD and it has helped to reduce some of my daytime sleepiness, but only after 6 weeks of the stuff getting into my system. At first I was really tired on the Strattera and then my doctor suggested I take all of my doses in the evening to help me sleep. Once I made the switch to the evening then I started to be more alert during the day and I don't have to nap for as long as I used to nor sleep for as long during the night as I used to. Have you tried Strattera?
How long have you been taking the Adderall? If you just started on it, then maybe with time your body will get used to it and the daytime sleepiness with diminish.
