> Nice to hear from you again too. I have been feeling so well I haven't been online much! LOL! Here's the deal with my hairloss we were discussing above. I went on Atkins, started losing hair about a month after I started it. Then I quit the Zoloft altogether and it REALLY started coming out. Now a month or so later it continues to come out. I am down to about 1/2 of the hair I had (thank god I had thick hair to begin with!). I have lost 23 pounds altogether, and I am still on Atkins. I added Zinc, Selenium, a good B complex, extra multivitamins and minerals and Biotin and a Hair loss complex. I have been on most of these for over a month. I don't know what's causing it, the weight loss or the Zoloft change. I have never had any of my meds (Zoloft, Remeron and Lamictal) cause hair loss before.

Hi, just a hunch, but I suspect the different diet and resultant weight loss is probably responsible for the hair loss in some way. Stopping Zoloft causing hair-loss sounds kind of Twilight Zonish in a way:)-but hey who knows? You were on quite a bit of Zoloft from what I remember. So, you are on just Lamictal and (higher-dose) Remeron now? Geez... I wouldn't have any problems shaving *my* head if my bipolar disorder would go AWAY! ;)
