You shouldn't worry about dying of serotonin syndrome from using Trazadone as a sleeping aid with Lexapro. I have used Trazadone for 20 years as a sleeping aid and have used it with almost every AD including Lexapro. I haven't died from any of these combinations - not even once.

About your feeling drunk after taking Trazadone, it's a very powerful med and depending on your dose, can knock you out within a few minutes. It is a bit scary at first, but you'll get used to it.
