I did have to go to the hospital shortly after I started Paxil but I think it was just a general worsening of my illness cause I was already feeling TERRIBLE when I was put on Paxil. Anyway I've been reading about people's experiences with Zoloft, Paxil and Lexapro and people seem to get severe agitation/panic from them. Is this maybe only for people who are sensitive to these drugs? I'm thinking about starting Lexapro while I'm on vacation in Florida (live in Finland) and I don't want any nasty surprises. I mean I know you never know how you'll feel on a drug but if it's a common thing with Lexapro I might not wanna start it while on vacation. I hope I will get some answers!

I had anxiety attacks during weeks 4-5, never had them before I took Lexapro. The first 2-3 weeks were real rough for me w/SE's, called in sick to work whole 2nd week. All SE's are gone now.

I too would suggest you wait until after your vacation to start, it would be terrible to have to deal with things like nausea, diahrea, dizziness, etc. while you are trying to relax and have a good time. Of course you may be one of the lucky ones who have MINOR side effects, but do you really want to take that chance?

Best of luck to you and have a GREAT TIME in Florida!!!~~~8|8
