falling asleep: Klonopin or lack of adderall?

Posted by babs on June 16, 2003, at 19:01:03

I just made a major change in my meds. I am now taking 80 mg celexa (the higher dose is for OCD) and 1 mg of klonopin at night and .5 mg in the am. I was on adderall (20 mg) which I took first thing in the am but we cut out the adderall because we think it may have been making my obsessions worse. The initial klonopin sedation has worn off and I feel pretty good but I'm having a problem reading. Whenever I sit down to read for extended periods of time, I have to take a nap. This is a major problem because I'm in grad school! I don't think the klonopin is doing it because the only time I fall asleep is when I have to read. I'm wondering if it's my ADD. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks, babs
