Hi Kim,

I saw my doc today and he's taking me off Effexor. I'm starting Paxil tomorrow (which I took about 4 years ago). I only could reach the 15 mg dose back then. Hopefully with Paxil CR I can get up to a theraputic dose this time.
When I recently tried to increase the Effexor to 75 mg I felt totally depressed. The doc said it's not a good med for me. My body should be somewhat use to it after 5 weeks I would think anyway. Even when the doc increased the dose of Effexor I had a splitting headache for 4 days, nasaua and a dry mouth (the same sife effects as when I started plus all of the others I mentioned in my post). Let me know how you make out!
