I hadn't been taking any other medications (except trazodone which I've taken for 2 years) until a few days ago. So I was on Lamictal by itself for 5 weeks and gaining weight. The weird thing is that I went off of Paxil at the same time as starting Lamictal, so you would almost think I'd lose weight. Except that I didn't gain any weight on Paxil.
